About the Role
We are looking for a
Senior SIP, Asterisk & DevOps Engineer
with deep experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting production VoIP infrastructure.
You will work directly with our engineering team and occasionally alongside customers, telecom carriers, and enterprise networking teams to solve complex production issues involving SIP signaling, RTP media, cloud infrastructure, and high-concurrency AI voice workloads.
This role is adecuado for someone who enjoys diagnosing difficult production problems,
optimizing performance, and building highly reliable voice infrastructure.
ResponsibilitiesTelephony Engineering
- Design and maintain production Asterisk environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunks and enterprise telephony integrations.
- Diagnose SIP signaling and RTP/media issues.
- Investigate call quality problems including:
- jitter
- packet loss
- latency
- one-way audio
- disconnects
- codec negotiation
- Analyze SIP traffic using:
- Wireshark
- sngrep
- tcpdump
- Asterisk CLI
- Configure SIP over UDP, TCP and TLS.
- Manage SRTP and secure SIP deployments.
- Troubleshoot NAT, SBCs, firewalls, VPNs and IP whitelisting.
- Optimize Asterisk for high concurrent call volumes.
- Design resilient and highly available telephony architectures.
