Role Description
The Warehouse Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Santo Domingo. This role is responsible for daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, unloading deliveries, verifying documentation, and organizing inventory. The Warehouse Specialist will pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensure items are correctly labeled, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role also includes operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, keeping work areas clean and safe,
and collaborating with team members to meet operational timelines and standards
Qualificatio
- Experience in Shipping & Receiving, including handling incoming and outgoing orders and verifying documentation
- Skills in Packing and Unloading, with the ability to safely handle and organize goods of varying sizes and weights
- Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including stock rotation, counting, and record-keeping
- Ability to operate a Pallet Jack and follow warehouse safety procedures
- Basic computer skills for updating inventory systems and processing documentation
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow established processes
- Ability to stand, lift, and move items in a warehouse environment for an extended period
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
