Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-visit interviews with patients to obtain accurate, detailed medical histories, chief complaints, and current medication lists, seamlessly communicating in both English and Spanish as required.
- Assist the neurologist by placing phone calls to patients to relay care instructions, follow up on treatment plans, or clarify medical details.
- Update and maintain medical records appropriately, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed in real-time in English.
- Collaborate closely with the clinic coordinator to ensure all neurology patient visits are completed smoothly, efficiently, and appropriately.
- Proactively contact outside facilities to obtain external medical records, diagnostic imaging (MRIs, CT scans, etc).
- Coordinate and schedule follow-up appointments for patients within the practice's scheduling system to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications & Skills
- 100% Bilingual (English/Spanish) with near-native verbal and written English skills.



Must be comfortable speaking with US-based patients and medical professionals.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or telehealth clinical assistant (experience supporting US healthcare providers is highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and standard clinical workflows (Neurology knowledge is a major asset).
- Proficiency with advanced skills using Google Suite / Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, and Google Meet) for all clinical coordination, documentation, and internal communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to speak with patients empathetically while remaining highly professional over the phone.
- A quiet, private home office space, a reliable computer, and a high-speed, stable internet connection to ensure HIPAA/data privacy compliance.

Pay: COP $3,500,000.00 - COP $4,500,000.00 per month.
