Our client is seeking a detail-oriented
*Dental Insurance & Eligibility Verification Specialist*
with dental experience to support their team in verifying patient insurance coverage and ensuring accurate benefit information. The adecuado candidate should have experience with dental insurance processes, be comfortable handling calls, and be proficient in using insurance portals.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Lubbock, TX Time | With 1 hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- *Insurance Verification:*
Verify dental insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for patients
- *Provider Outreach:*
Contact insurance providers via phone and online portals to confirm details
- *Documentation:*
Review and document coverage details, including limitations, exclusions, and co-pays
- *Claims Support:*
Assist in pre-authorizations and address claim-related inquiries
- *Data Management:*
Accurately enter and update patient insurance information in the practice management systems
- *Internal Communication:*
Communicate findings clearly with internal teams and/or patients to ensure financial transparency
- *Records Maintenance:*
Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all insurance interactions
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of dental insurance plans, procedures, and terminology
- Experience with insurance portals and practice management systems
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple verifications efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in dental insurance verification or dental office operations
