Design Engineer / Industrial Designer – Custom Fabrication

WeCollabify is looking for a highly skilled
Design Engineer or Industrial Designer
with strong experience in custom metal fabrication, constructability, and production documentation.

This role is adecuado for a creative technical professional who can transform complex concepts into practical, buildable solutions while supporting fast-paced, highly customized architectural and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed shop drawings and fabrication documentation.

• Design custom metal components, structural assemblies, skylights, integrated lighting systems, and specialty architectural features.

• Convert conceptual designs into accurate, manufacturable solutions.

• Resolve complex technical and constructability challenges independently.

• Coordinate with fabrication teams, consultants, designers, and project stakeholders.

• Review drawings for accuracy, quality, materials, welding requirements, and production feasibility.

• Support multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.





Required Experience

• Strong professional experience in industrial design, product design, mechanical design, fabrication design, or a related field.

• Proven experience working on U.S.-based projects.

• Advanced knowledge of metal fabrication, welding processes, structural assemblies, materials, and constructability.

• Proven experience preparing high-quality shop drawings and production documentation.

• Ability to understand how custom components are manufactured, assembled, transported, and installed.

• Experience working on highly customized or technically complex projects.

• English proficiency at a C1 level or higher.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
