Purpose of the Role
Lead the organization’s regional technology and digital transformation strategy, ensuring the evolution of technology platforms, innovation in digital products, and optimization of the customer experience. You will be responsible for coordinating technology, product, data, and business capabilities to drive growth, operational efficiency, profitability, and the organization’s positioning in the digital financial market.
Adecuado Professional Profile
- Professional with a degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Graduate-level education in an MBA, Digital Transformation, Project Management, Innovation, Information Systems Management, or areas related to strategic technology and business management.
- An executive with strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to lead technological transformation processes in complex and highly regulated organizations.
- Must combine technological expertise in modern architecture, cloud computing, microservices, digital platforms, data, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity with a solid understanding of finance and business.
- Strong ability to interact with the CEO, C-level teams, the Board of Directors, corporate committees, regulatory agencies, and other strategic stakeholders.
Required Experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in technology, digital transformation, innovation, or digital product development.
- At least 10 years of experience in executive roles such as Vice President of Technology, CTO, CIO, Chief Digital Officer, Head of Digital, or equivalent positions.
- Experience leading digital transformation and technology modernization processes in banking, fintech, financial services, telecommunications, or digital companies.
- Track record in the design, development, and scaling of digital products, mobile applications, transactional platforms, and technology ecosystems.
- Experience in modernizing core banking systems, critical platforms, transactional systems, and high-availability infrastructure.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture, cloud computing, microservices, APIs, integration, event-driven architecture, and digital platforms.
- Experience implementing data strategies,
advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence applied to business.
- Knowledge of agile models at scale, Dev Ops, CI/CD, automation, and the Product Operating Model.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in technology, architecture, software engineering, product, data, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, UX, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of technology risk management, business continuity, operational resilience, information security, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing large-scale technology budgets, strategic vendors, and investment portfolios.
- Experience leading regional teams, large-scale technology architectures, and organizational transformation processes.
- Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, open banking, Open Finance, digital payments, financial APIs, and hybrid or multi-cloud models.
- English proficiency at the B2 level or higher is desirable.

Compensation
Between $70,000,000 and $90,000,000 COP per month, depending on experience and profile.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional technology and digital transformation strategy, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Design and lead the short-, medium-, and long-term technology roadmap.
- Lead the modernization of the organization’s technology core, transactional systems, and digital platforms.
- Promote modern, scalable, resilient, secure, and platform-oriented architectures.
- Drive the development and scaling of digital products centered on customer needs and experience.
- Integrate data capabilities, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence into business products, processes, and decisions.
- Implement agile models, Dev Ops, automation, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Ensure the availability, continuity, security, scalability, and efficiency of technology operations.
- Establish mechanisms for technology governance, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and risk management.
- Align technology investments with objectives for growth, profitability, efficiency, and value creation.
- Lead high-performing regional teams and foster the development of technology talent.
- Define and monitor metrics for productivity, availability, quality, security, delivery speed, customer experience, and return on investment.
- Manage the technology budget, vendors, strategic partners, and alliances with stakeholders in the digital ecosystem.
- Report on progress, results, risks, and technology investments to the CEO, the Board of Directors, and corporate committees.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, auditors, suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, continuous learning, and data-driven decision-making.
