About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer,
you’ll build reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines, implement automated quality checks, and ensure downstream systems can trust the data they depend on. Working within a .Monks delivery team, you’ll collaborate with clients, engineers, and product teams while using AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex as part of your everyday workflow.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across diverse data sources
- Develop automated validation and integrity checks that identify data issues early
- Model and move data across relational and analytical stores to support reliable downstream systems
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues
- Design pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and observable
- Review human- and AI-generated code for quality, correctness, and consistency
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define and impleme
