Idóneo Professional Profile We are seeking an executive-level consultant and trainer with a proven and unquestionable track record as a Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Principal Engineer in global, robust, or high-growth environments. The candidate must possess strong expertise in designing high-availability software solutions and advanced architectural patterns, as well as expert proficiency in the two leading enterprise ecosystems on the market: C# (.NET) and Java. It is essential that the candidate possess excellent communication skills, business acumen, and a passion for teaching in order to convey cutting-edge methodologies, guide critical technical decisions, and transform senior software engineers into strategic architects.
Required Experience - Senior Technical Background: More than 12 years of professional experience in the technology sector, holding key roles such as Software Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Principal Engineer.
- Core Multi-Ecosystem Proficiency (C# .NET and Java): Proven expertise in the design, development, and optimization of mission-critical systems using modern .NET (C#) and Java (Spring Boot / Jakarta EE) platforms, ensuring adherence to clean code, enterprise design patterns, and clean architectures (Hexagonal, Clean Architecture, Onion).
- Architecture and Scalability: A proven track record of leading the transition and evolution from monolithic architectures to microservices, distributed systems, event‑driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and multi‑cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Technical Governance and Standards: Experience defining technology guidelines,
managing technical debt, establishing code quality policies, ensuring observability, and setting up continuous integration/deployment pipelines (DevOps/DevSecOps) in both ecosystems.
- Executive Facilitation and Mentoring: Previous experience leading seminars, boot camps, mentoring sessions, or corporate workshops aimed at software engineers, technical leaders, or senior developers aspiring to architecture roles.
Desirable
Experience (Bonus Points) - Master’s degree or specializations in Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Current expert-level professional certifications in Microsoft/.NET (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or Java/Oracle (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional / Java Enterprise Architect).
- Active experience as a technical evangelist, software architecture content creator, keynote speaker, or mentor in global technology communities.
- Active contributions to open-source projects or technical architecture publications focused on distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities - Curriculum Design: Structure the content of the Enterprise Software Architecture program with a managerial and hands‑on approach,
balancing theoretical foundations with real‑world case studies implemented in C# and Java.
- High‑Level Instruction: Lead training sessions on topics such as complex systems design, architectural patterns, heterogeneous integration between .NET and Java ecosystems, resilience, performance, and technology decision‑making focused on return on investment (ROI).
- Technical Leadership Mentoring: Facilitate the development of analytical skills among participants, guiding them in the transition from the role of senior developer (hands‑on coding) toward abstraction, modeling, diagramming, and enterprise technical leadership.
- Project Evaluation: Assess and review the architectural designs, system diagrams, and simulations submitted by students, providing corporate‑level feedback.
Valued
Skills - Thorough mastery of current trends in the global software industry (Cloud‑Native, Serverless, Domain‑Driven Design, Modular Architectures).
- Excellent teaching and public speaking skills to communicate abstract concepts, complex algorithms, and design decisions using clear, high‑level language.
- Systems thinking, technical pragmatism, and a strong focus on balancing technical excellence with strategic business needs.
- Inspiring leadership, professional credibility, and impeccable technical ethics.
