Job Description
Your Role
As a Security Consulting Engineer, you will be a key technical advisor and delivery leader, working directly with customers to design, implement, and optimise security solutions that drive real business outcomes. You will bring together deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to tackle complex challenges across enterprise and service provider environments.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Partnering with customers to plan, design and implement Cisco security solutions — including ISE, Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN,
Cloud Security (Umbrella, Cloudlock) and Secure Network Analytics — aligned to their specific business needs
- Taking a leadership role in the end-to-end delivery of security projects, creating and approving key deliverables such as High Level Designs, Low Level Designs, and Implementation Plans
- Acting as the primary point of contact for problem resolution on complex customer engagements, ensuring timely and effective solutions across a broad range of security technologies
- Supporting pre-sales activities by translating business requirements into solution designs and contributing technical input to the sales team
- Building and leveraging test environments to validate solutions and resolve complex compatibility issues, while contributing to the development of digital intellectual capital such as scripts and automation tools
