As part of Perficient, the Salesforce QA Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance project life cycle. This position entails collaborating closely with project managers to gather high-level requirements, collaborating with management for estimating and resource allocation, and providing leadership and guidance to a team of QA Engineers dedicated to the project. The Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead actively engages in SCRUM ceremonies to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs, development approach, subsequently formulating a test strategy and planning that involves QA resource allocation. This person is the main point of contact for QA activities coordination between upper management, scrum master, lead developer, release engineer and business analyst. This person should be able to take decisions and push back whenever the team is full of capacity. This position requires solid communication and reporting to upper management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to elicit high-level requirements.
- Work closely with management to estimate project timelines and allocate necessary resources.
- Supervise and guide a team of QA Engineers assigned to the project.
- Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align testing efforts with business needs.
- Develop a comprehensive test strategy to ensure the highest quality of software products.
- Continuously monitor QA tickets and manage assigned QA resources effectively.
- Request, prepare, configure, and manage test data and test environment.
- Design test scenarios and develop test cases.
- Execute manual testing and collect, analyze, and communicate test results.
- Identify, report and track incidents, defects, or bugs until its resolution; perform root cause analysis as required.
- Lead triage efforts to address issues promptly and efficiently within the QA team.
- Proactively plan for potential regression testing requirement
