We are seeking a proactive and skilled Software Engineer III to join our Engineering team at Fortra. In this role, you will enhance and maintain existing software products while contributing to the development of new solutions that support our mission to Build a Better IT for our customers. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, taking initiative on complex challenges, and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
- Design and implement major new features and functionality
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
- Work within R&D; to improve processes and best practices
