Role Overview
The Litigation Legal Assistant will support a growing personal injury law practice by managing client communications, case-related administrative tasks, insurance coordination, medical records management, and workflow documentation. This role serves as an extension of the attorney, helping streamline daily operations, improve efficiency, and contribute to the development of scalable processes that support the firm's growth.
The adecuado candidate is highly organized, proactive, bilingual (English/Spanish), and capable of managing responsibilities independently while maintaining excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client intake, onboarding, and case documentation.
- Coordinate communication with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers.
- Prepare and send Letters of Representation (LORs) and claim-related documents.
- Request, organize, and maintain medical records and case files.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and treatment providers.
- Support property damage claims and case progression.
- Maintain accurate updates within case management systems.
- Assist with workflow documentation and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and the legal team.
- Support social media scheduling and monitoring (nice to have).
Requirements
Must Have
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills (written and verbal). C1 English Level or Fluent
- 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or Personal Injury Support professional
- U.S Legal Experience is a must (Litigation is mandatory).
