esmero is looking for a full-time Commis to join our team The Commis is an important part of the team, responsible for preparation and production of foods and garnishes, storing goods, and maintaining product quality to be used for service. This is a full-time position, paid hourly, and candidates must be willing to work 45-60 hours, 5 days a week (Wednesday - Sunday). Commis predominantly works AM shifts, however, open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities
Works under the direction of chefs to complete assigned daily tasks
Follows prep and recipe lists in collaboration with the station’s Chef de partie
Supporting and communicating equipment maintenance/property to manager on duty
Receiving and inspecting deliveries for quality & storage of product and produce with regards to FIFO
Performing basic and deep cleaning of prep areas/equipment (cleaning, flipping and labeling)
Demonstrates a strong enthusiasm and actively contributes to the preparation of staff meal
Monitor inventory levels and submit orders as needed for your daily prep, with guidance and support from
