Veta Virtual is hiring a Legal Assistant for one of our clients in the Legal industry. ? Your Role

As a Legal Assistant, you will support attorneys and paralegals across a full caseload — handling client communication, document preparation, correspondence, and case administration with accuracy and urgency. Your day-to-day will involve:

Preparing, formatting, and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and case files in line with firm and court standards.
Communicating regularly with clients — providing status updates, gathering information, and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their case.




Managing case calendars — tracking deadlines, filing dates, hearings, and follow-up tasks to ensure nothing is missed.
Coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and third parties to gather information and keep cases moving forward.
Maintaining organized, accurate, and confidential client and case files within the firm's case management system.
Drafting routine correspondence and supporting attorneys with case preparation, filings, and administrative tasks as needed.
Handling incoming calls and inquiries professionally, routing matters appropriately, and keeping attorneys informed of priority items.

✅ What You'll Need

3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting — any practice area considered.
Familiarity with legal case management software such as Clio, Filevine, MyCase, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadl
