Position Summary
Pond is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with Data Center experience to join our growing team in Bogotá, Colombia. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in the design and delivery of mission-critical electrical infrastructure for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. This individual will play a key role in developing reliable, resilient,
and scalable electrical systems that support the demanding operational requirements of data center environments.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery, from planning and conceptual design through construction support and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Design electrical systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities, including medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution systems.
Develop electrical calculations, studies, specifications, and construction documents.
Design and coordinate critical power infrastructure including utility service entrances, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, transformers, and grounding systems.
Perform load calculations, short-circuit analyses, coordination studies, arc flash evaluations, and reliability assessments.
Support electrical designs for redundancy architectures including N, N+1, 2N, and distributed redundant
