Senior Platform Security Engineer (IAM / Authorization) at BairesDev
As a Senior Platform Security Engineer specializing in IAM and Authorization, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance access control systems to secure our core platform. You will translate complex security policies into scalable technical implementations, ensuring secure and reliable authorization services across our distributed system architecture.
What You'll Do
Architect and deploy highly scalable identity and access management solutions across the platform.
Build and optimize fine-grained authorization systems and access control models.
Develop shared security libraries, authentication middleware, and robust platform tooling.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate secure-by-default API patterns and architectural standards.
Ensure the reliability, performance, and low-latency execution of general authorization services.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in Platform Security, IAM, or related software engineering roles.
Proven expertise with Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models.
Hands-on experience with Google Zanzibar-inspired authorization systems such as SpiceDB or Auth0 FGA.
Strong proficiency in building core platform tooling, including auth middleware and shared security libraries.
