As a Trajectory Planning Engineer, you will specialize in motion planning algorithms to ensure smooth and safe navigation for autonomous vehicles or robotics. You will focus on transforming high-level behavioral goals into precise, real-time executable paths while accounting for complex dynamic environments.
What You'll Do
Design and implement advanced motion planning algorithms and lattice planners for autonomous systems.
Develop and optimize smooth trajectory generation techniques that adhere to vehicle physical limits and kinematic constraints.
Manage real-time constraints to ensure high-frequency path updates and immediate response to environmental changes.
Collaborate with control and perception teams to integrate planning frameworks with sensor data and vehicle actuators.
Utilize simulation tools to validate and tune planning logic across diverse and challenging operational scenarios.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on motion planning or robotics.
Proven expertise in developing and deploying planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, and lattice planners.
Advanced proficiency in C++ for real-time systems and trajectory optimization.
Hands-on experience with real-time constraints and optimization-based motion planning.
Deep understanding of robotics fundamentals and kinematics.
Advanced proficiency in English.
