About The Role

As a Senior AI / Orchestration Engineer, you’ll build the orchestration layer behind agentic AI systems that execute complex business workflows end to end. You’ll design systems that maintain state,



determine the next best action, route agents, and incorporate human judgment at critical decision points. Working within a Monks delivery team, you’ll collaborate with clients, product teams, engineers, and domain experts to shape emerging agentic engineering patterns and turn them into production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build agent orchestration layers, including workflow state, event-driven agent execution, and next-best-action logic
Integrate LLMs through provider-agnostic layers using platforms such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Writer.ai
Implement structured outputs, tool-calling, retries, guardrails, and model-routing strategies
Transform unstructured inputs—including documents, transcripts, and business records—into reliable, actionable data
Build human-in-the-loop approval workflows that keep users in control of high-impact decisions
