As an Android Framework Engineer, you will specialize in low-level Android development, focusing on the AOSP stack and system-level components. You will act as a key link between hardware and software, ensuring that system services and hardware abstraction layers are optimized for performance and seamless integration.
What You'll Do
Design and develop core features within the Android Framework layer using Java, Kotlin, and C++.
Extend and customize Android System Services, including Activity Manager, Power Manager,
and Window Manager.
Develop and maintain Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) and AIDL interfaces to facilitate hardware communication.
Optimize system-level performance, focusing on boot time, memory management, and power consumption.
Debug and resolve complex issues across the Android stack, from system services down to kernel adjacency.
Ensure device compatibility and stability by adhering to AOSP standards and certification requirements.
What We Are Looking For
4+ years of experience in Android Framework development or Low-level Systems Engineering.
Proven expertise with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and system services.
Strong proficiency in HAL development and hardware-software integration.
Deep understanding of C, C++, and Java for system-level programming.
Hands-on experience with kernel adjacency, device drivers, and custom ROMs.
Advanced proficiency in English.
