We are seeking a talented individual to join our finance team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bogota . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, including various captive insurance companies and other clients, handling their day-to-day financial activities. The role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting audit processes.
We will count on you to:
Prepare financial statements accurately and timely, including supplemental financial information required by clients.
Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of international clients, familiarizing yourself with their specific rules and regulations.
Reconcile cash and investment accounts, prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements.
Plan and complete annual audits, including preparation of regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for local accounting and financial reporting.
Maintain client files according to regulations and best practices.
Correspond with other service providers and prepare materials for board and committee meetings.
Comply with Marsh internal controls and any client-specific internal controls.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
CPA designation or CPA enrolment preferred, OR 1 years of relevant experience in financial statement preparation, working paper files, and General Ledger.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and with external clients.
