As a Senior Software Engineer for Health Tech, you will lead the development of secure and compliant healthcare systems. You will focus on the intersection of healthcare data and modern software architecture, ensuring that patient information is handled with the highest standards of integrity and security.
What You'll Do
Architect and develop high-performance backend systems that adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and PHI handling protocols.
Design and manage complex integrations with major EHR platforms like Epic, Cerner, and AthenaHealth to ensure seamless data flow.
Implement robust interoperability solutions using HL7 and FHIR standards to enable efficient medical data exchange.
Develop comprehensive audit logging and monitoring frameworks to maintain system transparency and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare-specific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Drive the adoption of best practices for healthcare data privacy and security across the entire development lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Health Tech.
Proven expertise in building HIPAA-compliant systems and PHI handling.
Hands-on experience with EHR integrations such as Epic, Cerner, AthenaHealth, or Canvas Medical.
Strong knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and audit logging.
Advanced
