About the role:

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our busy production team. As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production director.

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form videos for TikTok,



Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms, ensuring they align with the brand’s voice and message
Collaborate with content creators to refine and polish UGC-style videos, enhancing their impact and engagement
Edit raw footage into performance-driven ads for paid social media campaigns, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads
Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring they meet size, length, and technical specifications
Add engaging effects, transitions, captions, and music to enhance the viewer experience
Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, and best practices for viral content
Work with the marketing team to ensure that video ads are A/B tested and iterated based on performance data and client feedback

Requirements:

Must have availability for up to three months to start (further contract dependent on performance)
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
