Pond is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with experience in data centers and hydraulic calculations to join our growing team in Bogotá, Colombia. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in the design and delivery of mission-critical mechanical systems for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. This individual will play a key role in developing efficient, resilient,
and sustainable cooling and mechanical infrastructure that supports continuous operations in critical environments.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery, from planning and conceptual design through construction support.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Hydraulic Calculations for data centers and other mission-critical facilities, including cooling, ventilation, and support infrastructure.
Develop mechanical calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
Support development of mechanical redundancy strategies including N, N+1, and 2N configurations.
Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, civil, architectural, and telecommunications disciplines.
Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and issue resolution.
