About the Role
The DOT Compliance Clerk is responsible for supporting the company’s compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. This role ensures driver qualification files, vehicle records, and compliance documentation are accurate, complete,



and maintained in accordance with federal and state regulations. The Compliance Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining safe operations and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Driver Qualification & Records
Track and verify driver licenses, medical certificates, endorsements, and expirations
Manage DOT quarterly drug/alcohol randoms program
Monitor Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) and follow up on violations or discrepancies
Manage and monitor citation/violation program
DOT & FMCSA Compliance
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and applicable state regulations
Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of compliance issues
Maintain records related to hours of service (HOS), ELD compliance, and violations
Track that all drivers are login in daily before their shift. Provide reports to operations of driver not in compliance.

Enter and update compliance data in syste
