Purpose
The purpose of this position/role is to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions that support the organization's fraud detection and prevention initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless migration of existing systems to cloud platforms, optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, and maintaining high standards of security and compliance.

Drive strategic transformation of Scotiabank platforms by leveraging modern technologies including Java 8/17 Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to deliver scalable,
maintainable solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Lead the documentation, development, and implementation of high-quality solutions that align with operational excellence standards
The incumbent is responsible for contributing to multiple key projects, both small and large, concurrently along with participation in a production support rotation.
Contributes to technical vision and strategy by collaborating with technical lead ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Actively contributes to core development activities, including coding, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
The incumbent will be responsible for documentation of design including Technical Design Document, Security Design document etc.
