Purpose
The Senior Analyst will support the AML Operations Center in Bogotá D.C., Colombia, by delivering advanced data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project support. This role requires strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python, hands-on experience working with data analytics teams, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights that support operational performance, risk monitoring, and strategic decision-making. Knowledge of AML, KYC, or financial crime operations is desirable and will be considered an asset.
Accountabilities
• Collaborate with process owners to design and define KPIs and performance metrics (KPI/SLA).• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports aligned with business needs,
providing insights and recommendations to the Manager.• Guide best practices in data visualization and reporting to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.• Lead the development of high-impact dashboards by gathering requirements, identifying gaps, and translating needs into detailed project plans.• Monitor the consistent application of AOC activities in alignment with policy requirements and operational standards.• Prepare weekly and monthly management briefings and productivity/risk reports to support decision-making and SLA compliance.• Conduct statistical analysis of data trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and support strategic initiatives.• Maintain awareness of security and compliance concepts to support ongoing reporting needs.• Ensure adherence to data reporting standards and methodologies.• Support project delivery using structured methodologies, including documentation updates and alignment with AML/ATF policies.• Support AOC budget tracking and variance analysis in coordination wi
