Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of API-based services and mobile wallet integrations. The idóneo candidate has strong experience in API automation, service virtualization, mobile testing (particularly iOS), payment ecosystems, and performance testing.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to build robust automated test suites, validate complex payment flows, and ensure high-quality software releases.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans for REST APIs and backend services.
Validate API contracts, request/response payloads, headers, and JSON schemas.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Test asynchronous workflows, retry mechanisms, and fallback behaviors.
Execute fault injection testing for timeouts, malformed payloads, and service failures.




Build and maintain automated mobile test suites for iOS applications.
Validate digital wallet provisioning flows and payment integrations.
Test tokenization, identity verification, and token lifecycle events.
Verify OAuth authentication, mTLS configurations, certificates, and API security.
Execute performance, load, stress, and concurrency testing.
Analyze logs and troubleshoot production issues using monitoring tools.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and QA processes.
Required Qualifications
API Automation
Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
Experience developing automated API tests using REST Assured.
Experience with JUnit 5 or TestNG.
Solid experience using Postman.
