Analyst / Sr. Analyst – Funds and Asset Managers – Colombia

FAM Latam team is currently seeking an Analyst or Sr. Analyst based out of our
Bogota office.

The Funds and Asset Managers (FAM) team is a specialized group, focused on
providing in-depth analysis and ratings for investment funds and asset
management firms. The team evaluates a wide range of financial products,
including mutual funds, ETFs, and private equity funds, assessing their
performance, risk management, and overall stability. As a prospective candidate,
you will join a team of experienced analysts and industry experts dedicated to
delivering high-quality, objective insights that help investors make informed
decisions. This role offers the chance to engage with top-tier asset managers,
contribute to influential research, and develop your expertise in the financial
services sector.

We’ll Count on You To:

* Perform analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors of companies in
the Funds and Asset Management sectors;
* Maintain / develop financial models and reports;
* Participate in meetings with investment management teams;
* Help senior analysts / do and maintain ratings, prepare presentations for
rating committees, do research and write reports, do surveillance on existing
ratings;

What You Need to Have:

* Bachelor's degree;
* Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change;
* Expertise and proficiency in Excel, including programing macros in VBA;
* Other programing languages (C++, RStudio, Python, etc.) is a plus;
