We are looking for a Patient Coordinator with a strong focus on Call Center Operations to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive timely updates, support, and guidance throughout their prescription journey.
The idóneo candidate is highly organized, customer-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer support to patients, medical offices, and the pharmacy team, with primary responsibility for managing and overseeing Call Center operations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for inbound and outbound patient calls.
- Manage daily Call Center activities, ensuring timely and professional communication with all patients.
- Handle copay negotiation calls with patients, clearly explaining balances and discussing available payment options when applicable.
- Provide clear and timely updates to patients regarding prescription status, authorizations, and next steps.
- Escalate clinical, billing, or operational issues to the appropriate internal teams when needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all calls and patient interactions in the system.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and patient experience during all communications.
- Support administrative and operational tasks related to Call Center performance as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level required).
- Previous experience in a Call Center, Customer Service, Patient Support, or Healthcare Coordination role preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of patient interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office environments is a plus.
