You will be applying for the role of
Midlevel Backend Developer
.

Your daily responsibilities are:
- Gaining a deep understanding
of Kanguro's evolving products, such as
Pet Insurance
and
Renters Insurance
, to build impactful applications for both customers and internal users.
- Collaborating closely
with the rest of the Kanguro team, leveraging technology to solve their needs scalably, building internal tools, and automating repetitive workflows.
- Leveraging the latest advancements
in AI-powered development workflows, from in-editor suggestions to agentic feature implementation and AI-assisted code reviews. We use a combination of
Claude Code.




- Proposing, discussing, and implementing
improvements to the technology and data team's workflows, including code reviews, vulnerability scanning, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Managing and evolving
our hybrid infrastructure of Linux and Azure servers as needed.
