Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Agent to join our Logistics team. The adecuado candidate will have previous hands-on experience in Claims Management, preferably within logistics, transportation, freight, or a related industry. This role is responsible for managing customer and carrier claims related to damaged or lost shipments, coordinating documentation and insurance processes, communicating with customers, and ensuring claims are resolved accurately and within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and process different types of transportation and logistics claims from initial submission through resolution.
- Review claims documentation, reports, and supporting information to determine appropriate next steps.
- Handle claims involving insurance processes and coordinate with relevant parties as required.
- Evaluate damage or loss costs to support accurate claim resolution.
- Communicate with customers by phone, email, and text regarding damaged or lost property and provide timely updates.
- Coordinate with carriers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams to investigate and resolve claims.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim records in the appropriate systems.
- Prepare data analysis and statistical reports related to claims activity and performance.




- Provide detailed updates on assigned claims during team meetings and Huddle Meetings.
- Respond to emails and urgent requests within established service timelines.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to improve claims management and customer experience.
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics.
- Perform additional claims-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous experience in Claims is REQUIRED.
- Experience handling transportation, logistics, freight, property damage, or insurance claims is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a Call Center or Customer Service environment.
- Experience managing claims from documentation and investigation through resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to investigate issues, evaluate information, and make sound decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- English proficiency: B2–C1 (required).
