Role Description The Instructor role at Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) is a full-time, on-site position based in Bucaramanga. The Instructor will plan, prepare, and deliver competency-based training sessions, ensuring that learning objectives and institutional standards are met. Daily activities include designing lesson plans, creating instructional materials, assessing learner performance, and providing constructive feedback to support skill development. The Instructor will also participate in curriculum updates, maintain accurate records of learner progress, and collaborate with colleagues to improve training methodologies. Additional responsibilities may include mentoring learners, supporting institutional projects, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
Proven ability to design and deliver structured training sessions, including lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment.
Strong communication and presentation skills,



with the capacity to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learner groups.
Experience using educational technologies, digital platforms, and basic office software to support teaching and learning.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education, learner-centered approaches, and continuous improvement in instructional practices.
Bachelor’s degree or technical/professional qualification in a relevant field of study; teaching certification or pedagogical training is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in Bucaramanga, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to institutional guidelines and procedures.
Prior experience as an instructor, trainer, or educator in vocational or technical education environments is highly desirable.
Professional ethics, reliability, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple groups, schedules, and administrative tasks.
