Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a regional payroll team, providing mentorship and oversight to ensure high standards of operational excellence and compliance.
- Regional Operations: Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processes in all active APAC countries and other assigned jurisdictions, including daily adjustments, tax processing, and accurate statutory remittances.
- Scalable Strategy: As the APAC region and other international markets evolve, design and implement localized workflows that allow team members to take ownership of regional execution while maintaining integral consistency.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide internal payroll expertise and strategic guidance to cross‑functional partners, including customer‑facing teams, International Finance, Legal, and Operations.
- Global Reconciliation: Ensure accurate quarterly and year‑end processing, including tax reconciliations across all international jurisdictions where we operate.
- Compliance Oversight:



Stay current on evolving payroll‑related laws and regulations across the APAC region and beyond to ensure the organization remains fully compliant.
- Product Innovation: Act as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert, partnering with Product and Engineering teams to automate and scale payroll products around your operational expertise.
- Audit & Controls: Support internal control and compliance efforts, including process testing, documentation updates, and remediation as needed.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in international payroll operations, specifically within the EOR, PEO, or HR Tech space.
- 2+ years of experience managing a regional or international payroll team.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries (e.g., Singapore, Australia, India, etc.) and experience with International Contractor compliance.
- Proven experience leveraging and optimizing payroll
