Job Description

A Home Care Scheduling Coordinator balances caregiver and client needs by creating and managing efficient schedules, matching skills to needs, and resolving issues like no-shows or emergencies, acting as a crucial link between families, caregivers, and the agency, using scheduling software and strong communication to ensure quality, continuous care.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Optimization: Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly caregiver schedules.
- Client-Caregiver Matching: Analyze employee skills, geographic locations, and language abilities to match the best caregiver with each client's specific care plan.
- Coverage & Emergency Management: Secure immediate replacement coverage for new client placement,



caregiver call-outs, sick leave, and sudden client cancellations.
- Track Attendance: Monitor clock-ins using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) software.
- Intake & Referral Processing: Review new patient referrals and establish initial care schedules according to authorization limits.
- Communication: Field incoming phone calls and text messages from clients, families, service coordinators and clinicians regarding immediate updates or schedule modifications.
- Data Compliance & Billing Support: Document all appointment verifications, tracking metrics, and schedule modifications within the company CRM or software database to assist with payroll and billing.

Requirements
- Experience in homecare scheduling, medical office administration, or customer service. Prior experience working within a home care or home health agency is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, and specialize
