As the Regional Tax Manager, you will lead and scale Rapyd’s tax function across seven Latin American countries, serving as the region’s primary tax advisor and strategic business partner. Based in our Bogotá office on a hybrid model, you will report directly to the VP of Integral Tax and lead a dedicated regional team (Tax Team Leader in Colombia; Tax Managers in Argentina, Chile, and Peru). You will own regional tax strategy, compliance, reporting, commercial tax advisory, transfer pricing, and tax audits, ensuring tax excellence as we scale our high-growth fintech platform across LATAM.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Regional Tax Operations: Oversee the end-to-end tax function across seven LATAM jurisdictions, managing corporate income tax, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and tax compliance.
- Drive Strategy & Business Partnering: Serve as the primary tax advisor to Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations, reviewing the tax implications of new products, cross-border transactions, merchant onboarding, and supplier agreements.
- Own Transfer Pricing & Compliance: Manage the regional transfer pricing framework, including documentation, compliance, intercompany transactions, and tax planning initiatives.
- Manage Audits & Governance: Direct all regional tax audits, disputes, and interactions with local tax authorities, preparing robust technical positions and defense files.
