Business Overview and Role Description:




The Latin America Product Development team is responsible for leading new product development initiatives and managing the product lifecycle events across the different fund ranges (active, passive and alternatives) of locally domiciled products across the region (Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil).

Responsibilities
- Lead the local Mutual Funds product lifecycle (design, launch, enhancements, and potential rationalization). Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with BlackRock’s governance, processes, and local regulatory requirements.
- Understand BlackRock’s products and investment capabilities to continuously challenge, propose and identify opportunities to improve the existing Mutual Funds platform.
- Mexican Mutual Funds product innovation. Research local and general market trends and new product ideas for the Mexican market to assess impacts and feasibility of implementation.
- Support project management related to the enhancements and implementation of new processes driven by internal initiative
