The Curriculum and Instruction Department at Open Education (OE) is seeking a Curriculum Assistant to join the Academic team. Under general supervision of the Curriculum Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring daily and weekly content is uploaded for online publishing, improving the quality of instructional content, updating new EFL content, and other duties supporting the development and delivery of English language instruction. This role will require rapid and accurate publication of daily and weekly materials with an extreme attention to detail for editing.

The Curriculum Assistant is expected to communicate daily with other team members. This person will coordinate as needed with members of the Technical Development, Operations, Curriculum, and Creative Teams to develop, review, test, and improve facets of the Open English online learning platform.

Main Responsibilities
- QA learning content and check the content for readability, style, and agreement with OE guidelines.
- Organize lesson packages according to a schedule.




- Input daily content into LCMS (learning content management system).
- Input text and graphics into publishing software.
- Submit or upload final files for online publishing.
- Revise content and make corrections as advised. Corrections may cover spelling errors, punctuation, grammar, native language use, readability, style, and agreement with OE guidelines.
- Perform simple image and video edits.
- Load content into proprietary content authoring tool.
- Assist in the development of curriculum content as needed.
- Cross-train with other members of the Curriculum and Instruction team to enable consistent production of all Academic Content.
- Maintain updated reference materials, including but not limited to: style guides, content examples, templates, and daily schedules.
