Job Summary

The Manager, AMER Operations Compliance supports and manages Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance for LATAM within the AMER region. The role ensures adherence to global policies, local regulations, and Equinix standards, assists with EHS audits, risk management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, leads a team of Operations Compliance professionals, partners with senior management to execute strategy, and acts as a subject‑matter expert for compliance within the AMER region.

Responsibilities
- Support recruitment, development, and retention of EHS compliance staff within the AMER region
- Assist in managing internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with relevant EHS laws, regulations, and Equinix standards
- Help investigate non‑compliance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain local EHS procedures tailored to site‑specific and regional requirements
- Provide guidance and training to operations teams on EHS best practices
- Track and report EHS metrics (e.g.,



incident rates, audit findings) and support improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with regional and general EHS, Legal, and Operations teams to maintain safety protocols
- Act as a resource for EHS compliance in the AMER region

Audits & Certifications
- Coordinate site‑level compliance audits (internal and external)
- Act as SPOC for Compliance Center of Excellence (COE) for audit activities
- Manage and follow up on audit findings
- Identify processes to be audited based on a set criteria and controls
- Report any findings to management and relevant stakeholders
- Manage rollout of new certifications and sustain existing certifications within the sites in scope

Management Systems
- Ensure local procedures are developed to comply with local legislative and Equinix requirements
- Ensure all required compliance records are maintained in local/global repositories; this includes records relevant to Oper
