As a Database Administration Specialist your responsibilities will be:
- Administering, monitoring, and maintaining relational and cloud-based databases.
- Optimizing performance and tuning systems to improve response times.
- Implementing backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Managing access controls and ensuring data security.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring system availability.
- Supporting database design and architecture improvements.





In addition, you can make a difference if you meet:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in database administration.
- Experience in one or more database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server (MSSQL Server), DB2, and MySQL.
- Experience working with cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), including technologies such as Oracle on EC2, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift.
- Knowledge in performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, database security, and troubleshooting.
- Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to understand technical documentation and communicate in technical environments.
