Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activity
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with project managers and operations staff to track job costing and expenses
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
