Lead Accountant
to support the financial operations of our U.S.-based hospitality company. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to grow professionally.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Review revenue reports, account reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare month-end close, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
- Assist in improving accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements




- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública) is required.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Highly organized,
detail-oriented
, and analytical.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Passion for numbers with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, but
not required
.

• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills (spoken and written) are required.
- Based in Colombia with the ability to work remotely.
- Valid U.S. visa and willingness to travel to the United States when required.
