About Hello Motors

Hello Motors is a growing automotive dealership based in Ontario, Canada. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join our team remotely from Colombia.

This is a dedicated, long-term position. The successful candidate will work exclusively with Hello Motors and will not be responsible for managing multiple external clients or bookkeeping accounts for other companies.

We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our business and take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounting records and supporting our monthly, quarterly and year-end financial processes.

The idóneo candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll and Canadian accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

*Bookkeeping &* *QuickBooks*
- Manage and maintain our QuickBooks Online account
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions




- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
- Reconcile financing and other dealership-related accounts
- Review transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organized digital accounting records
- Identify discrepancies and investigate accounting issues

Month-End Accounting
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Perform month-end closing procedures
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements
- Prepare Balance Sheet reports
- Track expenses and major financial variances
- Provide management with clear monthly financial summaries
- Ensure the books are kept current and accurate

Canadian Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and monitor GST/HST calculations
- Calculate HST payable/receivable and prepare information required for HST filings
- Track tax-related accounts and deadlines
- Assist with ye
