Role Description
This full-time remote Financial Accountant role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities for Slate Brands’ portfolio. The Financial Accountant will prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements, maintain accurate general ledger records, and ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes. This role includes creating internal and external financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring financial performance against targets.



The Financial Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support audits, and uphold compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The position requires a proactive approach to improving accounting processes and systems to support a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support decision-making, and analyze financial performance.
- Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and present accurate and timely reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related tools to manage ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of GA
