We are seeking an Associate for our insurance litigation team based in our Bogotá office.

TEAM

Our Bogotá office provides specialist insurance law services to local and international insurers and reinsurers, with expert advice based on a deep understanding of the Colombian insurance market. The team specializes in insurance and reinsurance, with a particular emphasis on corporate, regulatory advice, contracts, commercial and dispute resolution.

Claim negotiations
Policy drafting

Required Experience

6+ years' insurance litigation experience*




Experience of assisting on large cases in a global environment
Experience handling all phases of the litigation process including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery and appeals.
Experience of arbitration and negotiation
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
Strong technical and research skills
Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
Bilingual in English and Spanish
