About The Client
We have built a localized, consumer mobile app designed as a peer-to-peer trading card marketplace. While the platform supports various trading card games (including Pokémon), our most engaged, high-value users belong to card-for-card trading communities like Magic: The Gathering. Led by a software developer focused on product development, we are looking for a self-driven marketer to take full ownership of user acquisition, community growth, and top-of-funnel awareness.

About The Role
We are seeking an autonomous, execution-focused Social Media & Growth Marketing Specialist to build and scale our online presence. In this role,



you will lead our growth marketing efforts with a heavy initial emphasis on organic Reddit strategies, alongside secondary channels like Instagram and YouTube.

Because our founder is focused on engineering, you will have significant autonomy to run experiments, engage niche hobbyist communities, and execute general marketing initiatives. This is an ideal position for someone who understands niche/hobby collector cultures, thrives in community-led growth, and can hit the ground running with minimal oversight.

Role Responsibilities
- Reddit & Community Growth: Lead our immediate low-hanging fruit opportunity on Reddit by engaging authentically in relevant subreddits, creating value-driven content, and driving organic adoption among TCG/CCG trading communities.
- Multi-Channel Social Strategy: Manage, curate, and scale our presence across Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant social channels to build brand awareness and organic reach.
