About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer – L3 Support / BAU with strong experience supporting web-based applications and reporting platforms. This role focuses on resolving complex production issues, troubleshooting and debugging applications, optimizing SQL-based reporting solutions, and ensuring the stability and performance of existing systems.
The adecuado candidate is proactive, self-driven, and comfortable taking ownership of production incidents from investigation through resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field .
- 4–8 years of industry experience , with significant hands‑on experience in L3/BAU application support for web-based applications.
- Strong experience with SSRS or similar SQL-based reporting tools .
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, query optimization,



and debugging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices , application support processes, and source control tools such as GitHub .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to independently own incidents while collaborating across teams.
- Availability to overlap with US-based teams .

Nice to Have
- Experience with Sigma and/or Power BI .
- Exposure to applications hosted on Microsoft Azure .

Responsibilities
- Provide L3 and BAU support for web-based applications and act as a primary technical point of contact for application incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, performance problems, bugs, and system errors , minimizing application downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement or recommend preventive improvements.
- Support and troubleshoot
