We're looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to join an innovative initiative with one of our general clients in the Life Sciences industry.

You'll help transform a traditional software development lifecycle into an AI-enabled engineering model by leveraging Claude AI as part of the daily development workflow.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on an internal platform that combines Ruby development, AI-assisted engineering, Jira integrations, operational metrics, and modern software delivery practices.

What You'll Do
- Build scalable backend solutions using Ruby.
- Leverage Claude AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Integrate Jira data into reporting and planning capabilities.
- Build data models to improve operational visibility.
- Improve staffing and planning functionality.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
- Senior experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails.
- Experience building backend applications.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude during software development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and SDLC.
