Role Description
The Sales Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for generating new business and expanding relationships with existing customers in the logistics and transportation sector. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, preparing rate quotes, and presenting solutions tailored to customer shipping needs. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, following up on inquiries, negotiating pricing and terms within established guidelines,



and coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. The Sales Specialist will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, monitor market trends, and provide feedback to leadership to support service improvements. This position also requires collaborating with internal teams on account strategy and occasionally participating in virtual training sessions and sales meetings.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on building trust, resolving issues, and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated Sales experience, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals in a B2B environment.
- Experience in Training or sales coaching, such as supporting onboarding of new team members or educating customers on services.
