Position Overview

The Dispatcher is responsible for managing the transportation process after a customer's shipment has been booked. This includes sourcing qualified carriers, negotiating rates, dispatching loads, tracking shipments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining constant communication with carriers, customers, and internal departments.

The adecuado candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong negotiation skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding service while maximizing operational efficiency and profitability.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Manizales, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities

Carrier Management
- Source, evaluate, and dispatch qualified carriers for vehicle shipments throughout the United States.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
- Verify carrier qualifications, insurance, and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate competitive carrier rates while maintaining company profit margins.

Dispatch Operations
- Assign shipments to the most suitable carrier based on price, transit time, equipment availability, and customer requirements.
- Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
- Proactively identify and resolve transportation delays or service issues.
- Ensure all shipments are dispatched within company service standards.

Customer & Internal Communication
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding shipment status.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain professional communication with carriers regarding scheduling, documentation, and delivery updates.
