WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer – Renewables to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will support the planning, design, analysis, and execution of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and related infrastructure. This role involves contributing to projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from feasibility studies and detailed design to construction support and project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with exposure to renewable energy and major infrastructure projects. Due to the general nature of the projects and stakeholders, advanced English and French language proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil engineering design and analysis for renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar photovoltaic facilities, battery energy storage systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Develop site grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and access road designs.
- Support the design of foundations,



platforms, hardstands, collector systems, and site infrastructure.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate site investigations and review topographical, geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental data.
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance activities associated with renewable energy developments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, geotechnical, environmental, and project management specialists.
- Review contractor submittals, construction documents, and technical deliverables.
- Participate in construction support activities, field inspections, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
